The second annual Summer Streets starts today and for the next three Saturdays throughout the city. Take your streets back from the tyranny of the automobile. Nearly 7 miles of car free streets. Routes include, Lafayette Street – 4th Avenue – Park Avenue – 72nd Street – Central Park with bike lane and low-traffic connections to Harlem, Brooklyn, Queens, Governors Island and the West Side Greenway.
